Join Our Team as a Certified Medical Assistant in Bend, OR!

Schedule:Full-time; 4, 10 hour shifts

Wage:$22-$25, if certified

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-moving environment

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus

•Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) preferred, but not required

• Need to get Certified? We will train and prepare you for the National Health Career Association Exam

Minimum Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

Education:

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Medical Assistant diplomafrom an accredited vocational institution or community collegepreferred

Experience (Preferred but Not Required):

+ At leastone year of hands-on experiencein a medical setting as aMedical Assistant, CNA, Caregiver, or EMT

+ Skills that set you apart:

• Proficiency withEKGs, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary draws, and injections

• Experience in afast-paced clinical environment

Other Requirements:

+ BLS Certification(must be current or obtained within30 days of hire)

+ Up-to-datehealth records and immunizationsto meet healthcare field requirements (Hepatitis B & Tuberculosis)

General Physical Requirements

+ While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

+ The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.

+ The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

+ W ork Environment: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.

OSHA Category This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
