Relocation Assistance is offered for this position.
Provides pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgical care from infancy through skeletal maturity. Participates in interdisciplinary care for craniofacial and cleft patients, routine oral surgical care for children with complex medical conditions, management of developmental jaw differences and maxillofacial pathology, as well as education for dental/surgical residents and associated research. Collaborates with the speech pathologists, otolaryngologists, craniofacial plastic surgeons, and pediatricians in planning treatment for jaw growth irregularities, pediatric facial trauma, and maxillofacial pathology. Treats conditions, defects, injuries, and esthetic aspects of the oral cavity and maxillofacial skeleton within the Seattle Children’s Dental and Craniofacial Clinics.
**Compensation:** $401,775 - $561,885 per year
Required Education and Experience
DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine).
Advanced training in a oral and maxillofacial surgery program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on - Advanced Dental Education in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
Board Eligibility or Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
Previous experience in hospital Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
Experience with medically compromised and developmentally delayed pediatric patients.
Additional education and/or experience in education, research or business.
Required Credentials
Licensed Dentist in the State of Washington.
Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.
All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year.
Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individual's employment at Children's.
Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children’s as a non-employee in any category for which the individual qualifies.

Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
