    Directs the translation of system-level goals and Transportation Department objectives in areas of policy, programs, projects, and service delivery through the effective utilization of staff and financial resources. The Director is a key leader in achieving Children's goal to grow and meet current and future strategic objectives in a multi-campus system. These activities occur within the context of transportation demand management (TDM), planning and policy development, delivering cost-effective trip reduction performance, service delivery to patients and families, and equitable commute options to workforce. The director of Transportation leads goal development and resource allocation in partnership with the Vice President of Facilities and Capital Projects, partners with regional transportation leaders to strengthen the area's transportation systems, develops strategic partnerships internally with Children's stakeholders such as People and Culture, MarCom, IT, Security, as well as community leaders and the media. This position ensures Children's transportation department provides cost effective, performance-based, high-value commute options to employees in order to recruit and retain the highest level of clinical and support staff. The director leads high performing business units in the day-to-day operations of parking, parking enforcement, valet, revenue collection and billing, shuttle and fleet operations, and achieves regulatory compliance with Children's development agreement and leads strategic planning transportation benefits and services including parking, commuter services, programs and shuttles.

    Required Education and Experience

    + Bachelors Degree in Urban Planning, or Community, Environment, and Planning, or Public Administration, , Business or related field.

    + Five years leadership experience directing comprehensive transportation planning and communication strategies for a large, complex organization with multiple constituencies and priorities.

    Preferred

    + Masters Degree in Urban Planning, Business or related field. Transportation Demand Management certification, or demonstrated knowledge.

     

    Compensation Range

     

    $126,805.00 - $190,207.00 per year

     

    Salary Information

     

    This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
