The position works globally, and scheduling flexibility is required to allow for regular meetings and connectivity with colleagues in the Americas, APAC, and EMEA time zones.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Global Mobility-Talent is a key pillar of Talent, Learning, & Culture and works in partnership with Global Mobility-Operations in HR Centralized Services. The main purpose of this role is to optimize and increase global mobility within MUFG and contribute to a culture of mobility where colleagues are empowered to seek new internal opportunities and own their careers.
Offerings/solutions are organized around:
+ Talent and global mobility assignments
+ Internal mobility (i.e., job postings/internal transfers)
In general, this role will develop a recommendation and path forward for Global Mobility-Talent at MUFG. This includes identifying high-potential leaders for global assignments, developing processes and toolkits to foster a culture of mobility, and ensuring the successful implementation of mobility programs in collaboration with Talent and HR partners. The role will serve as the primary contact for Global Mobility-Talent related matters.
This engaging, high impact role will require the ability to be strategic and detail oriented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and recommend a vision, objectives, budget, etc. for global mobility offerings/solutions
+ Drive the process to socialize and obtain leadership support and approval for recommendation
+ Develop and execute implementation plans for approved programs/activities
+ Manage and execute new and/or existing programs, as needed
+ Work with partners across Talent, Learning & Culture to engage in talent processes including succession planning and learning programs to identify key talent for mobility assignments
+ Partner with key stakeholders to ensure mobility assignments meet development objectives, engage with assignees throughout the assignment, and ensure a high satisfaction experience
+ Contribute to a culture of internal mobility through colleague communications, participation in Own Your Career Week, etc.
+ “Own” the Mobility Playbook and drive adoption/engagement throughout HR
+ Engage with Global HR on the delivery of TIP
+ Measure and optimize key metrics such as internal transfer rate and return on investment (ROI) of programs
+ Stay abreast of current mobility trends (with a lens on talent) and proactively share knowledge and bring new concepts to MUFG
+ Develop and maintain strong working relationships across the global organization (e.g., Global Mobility -Operations, T,L&C partners, HR Business Advisors, CHROs, etc.)
+ Ad hoc projects and requests, as needed
WORK EXPERIENCE
+ Experience developing and implementing strategies and programs that deliver enriching experiences that prepare colleagues for the challenges of today and tomorrow.
+ Experience in Human Resources in a complex global environment; proven strength in mobility, talent management, talent development preferred
+ Experience managing projects and programs with multiple stakeholders
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Functional / Technical Competencies:
+ Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, able to adapt style and tone to suit the audience
+ Strong problem-solving skills, working with different stakeholders and managing priorities
+ Ability to work independently and autonomously to define and implement solutions
+ Proven project management experience spanning from concept development through implementation and measurement
+ Strong leadership and influencing skills
+ Strong decision-making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgement
+ Experience in managing multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders
+ Demonstrates an ability to prioritise a challenging workload and act with urgency, delivering to multiple, sometimes tight, deadlines
Performance and Duties
The role holder will be assessed in accordance with their employing entity’s performance framework and process, with relevant input obtained from the dual-hatting entity as relevant.
As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the role holder. The role holder will carry out other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the role as requested by their line manager or Department Head.
The compensation and benefits information in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside of the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits consistent with the local market.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $120,000 - $155,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
