Looking for a career where your work will enable a business to reach the next level? OSM Worldwide is currently hiring an AWS Cloud Developer that will continue our development in the cloud. A successful candidate will design, develop, and deploy our applications in AWS while serving as the SME for the company in cloud development.
Our cloud initiative is critical for the company’s success and is a key project in ensuring we have the right size technology infrastructure to support the company's growth. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that’s not afraid to challenge the norm. This is an on-prem position.
What our Sr. Cloud Platform Architect Will Do:
+ Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others.
+ Collaborate with architects and other developers to design scalable and secure cloud architectures.
+ Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in the AWS environment.
+ Ensure compliance with security best practices and manage IAM roles and policies.
+ Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).
+ Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and best practices.
+ Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, tools, and trends in cloud computing.
+ Be willing to be on call, as needed, and respond to issues timely after standard work hours.
What Experience You Need:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Proven experience in cloud development, preferably with AWS.
+ Strong programming skills in C#.
+ Familiarity with AWS services and tools (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, etc.).
+ Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
+ Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with serverless architectures.
+ Understanding of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD and Azure tools.
+ Knowledge of Flyaway preferred.
