Job Summary:
The Quality Analyst is responsible for supporting the Performance Improvement initiatives of the organization by maintaining and evaluating data through processing, analysis, trending and tracking under the Performance Excellence umbrella. Identifies opportunities for improvement and provides statistical analyses and reports to appropriate committees. Meets with stakeholders to review data and provide feedback as needed. The Quality Analyst is responsible for the administration and functions of several quality reporting software programs and is responsible for working with vendors to ensure it meets the hospital’s needs. Serves as the primary educator for these programs, responsible for training and providing support as needed. The Quality Analyst maintains working knowledge of quality and regulatory standards.
Performs other duties as necessary in order to facilitate department and strategic operations. Collaborates and interacts with members of the Healthcare team including Nursing, Medical Staff, Quality Improvement, Medical Records, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Graduate of an accredited school; baccalaureate degree preferred.
+ Minimum 4 years performance improvement/data analyst experience in acute care setting.
