Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Control Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing production schedules, ensuring efficient workflow, and coordinating with various departments to meet production goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in production planning software, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Production Control Analyst will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of our production processes and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Monitor Production Schedules: Ensure timely completion of manufacturing projects by monitoring and adjusting production schedules as needed.
+ Coordinate with Departments: Work closely with different departments to resolve production issues and minimize delays.
+ Analyze Production Data: Generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement by analyzing production data.
+ Develop Procedures: Implement production control procedures to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
+ Manage Inventory Levels: Ensure materials are available for production by managing inventory levels effectively.
+ Utilize Planning Software: Optimize scheduling using production planning software and tools.
+ Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
+ Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Identify and implement corrective actions for production discrepancies through root cause analysis.
+ Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of production activities and updates.
+ Assist in Budget Development: Contribute to the development of production budgets and cost control measures.
+ Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
+ Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in planning or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Skills:
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Proficiency in accounting software, database interface and query software, planning ERP software, and materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain management software.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and convey information effectively.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply general rules to specific problems.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate cross-functional activities.
+ Certificates & Licenses: CPIM, CSCP, PMP, Lean Manufacturing, and Six-Sigma Green Belt preferred.
