Finance Manager Sr
The Finance Manager Senior manages all internal and external management reporting for the Bank supporting both finance and controllership groups. This role is responsible for providing oversight and management of key functions related to risk, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, GAAP reporting, Board reporting and/or investor reporting while driving efficiencies within the finance and accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
+ Develops, implements, and manages annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitors variances, analyzes financial data, and provides recommendations for cost optimization. Leads efficient management reporting processes to provide executives with financial information to aid in decision making.
+ Acts as the main point of contact for financial matters, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and key business units
+ Oversees preparation of financial reporting to external parties such as regulators, investors and Board.
+ Ensures compliance with GAAP, financial regulations, banking standards, and internal policies. Oversees audits and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
+ Performs analysis of the financial statements and key metrics to understand and communicate bank’s performance.
+ Leads, mentors, and develops a team of finance professionals. Provides training and support to junior staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
+ Supports financial reporting needs for corporate development team and client facing leaders.
+ Coordinates/completes ad-hoc reporting as requested.
Educational Requirements
+ University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
+ 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
+ University degree preferred in Accounting or Finance
+ CPA, MBA or related post-graduate degree or license preferred
+ Experience preparing financial reporting to external parties such as regulators, investors, and Board of Directors
+ Understanding of US GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
Hybrid work is a minimum of four days a week in the office and one flexible day for remote work.
