+ This job is a member of the Revenue Management Team within the Revenue Management Division.
+ Responsible for leading a team to drive significant top line revenue improvements for American Airlines and being a thoughtful leader and active participant as a member of the RM leadership team.
+ Responsible for creating and fostering a relentless focus on marketplace execution by assessing the competitive marketplace, identifying new revenue opportunities and leveraging available tools, processes, best practices and reporting.
What you'll do
• **Leads RM Pricing and Yield Management:**
+ Responsible for leading a team of analysts with direct top line impact to company revenue.
+ The Manager is integral to helping shape the direction, analysis and business process management of pricing and yield strategies.
+ Will develop an in depth understanding of the competitive marketplace and the toolset used to take advantage of revenue opportunities
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ BS/BA degree with significant coursework or experience in a quantitative discipline (economics, mathematics, engineering, finance, etc.), or graduate degree
+ 5 years related experience

+ Ability to manage a team and support critical business decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
+ Ability to identify gaps in current tools and systems and create vision for Revenue Management success going forward
+ Ability to build collaborative relationships with and consensus amongst multiple stakeholders with varying points of view
+ Ability to solve and to lead others in solving complex analytical problems
+ Willingness to take calculated risks
+ Prior experience in Revenue Management, Finance, Network Planning or Sales Planning preferred
+ Display key attributes required by American Airlines: Personal integrity, respectful of others and their opinions, inclusive, team oriented, adaptable, positive and optimistic
