What you'll do

+ Work closely with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement and support privacy technology solutions that provide insights to make better decisions while preserving data privacy
+ Implement application development, data migration and data privacy portal solutions using Azure products and services: (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Kubernetes, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Service bus topics, etc.) and traditional application tools
+ Perform multiple aspects involved in the development lifecycle – design, cloud engineering (Infrastructure, network, security, and administration), ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI, alerting, prod support
+ Develop technical solutions and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently
+ Be a part of a DevOps team that completely owns and supports their product
+ Implement data and full stack application support using cloud technologies
+ Follow coding standards, best practices and privacy and security guidelines
+ Be part of multi-functional technical and domain skills team
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
+ 2 year web application or services experience
+ 1+ years of cloud development experience (prefer Microsoft Azure) including (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Kubernetes, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Service bus topics, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Technical certifications like Java (or other programming languages), Azure
+ 3+ years software solution development using agile, devops, product model that includes designing, developing and implementing large scale applications
+ Database migration experience (IBM to Azure)
+ Privacy or Cybersecurity experience or certifications
+ Airline Industry experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
+ Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, common data structures and algorithms, design patterns and best practices
+ Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
+ J2EE technologies: Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC
+ Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)
+ Front-end and other frameworks: Spring Framework , Angular JS, Ext JS, CSS, React
+ Database and persistence frameworks: Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning
+ Web Servers: Tomcat tcServer, Websphere
+ Build/deployment tools: Maven, Git, Junit
+ Other: Linux/Unix shell Scripting
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
+ Experience in Azure cloud technologies
+ Experience in Agile methodologies
+ Experience in DevOps Toolchain technologies
+ Experience with containers and container management solutions like Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher
+ Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous delivery
