Technician level of support, under general supervision, provide technical software, and hardware problem resolution to all end-users by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users and IT Manager through step-by-step solutions in a help desk environment; clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner; pass more complex end-user problems on to help IT Manager or Third Party Providers; Documents, Tracks and Monitors all computer system work requests through the use of the Track-IT software to ensure a timely resolution to end-users.
The technician maintains the function, integrity, and security of point-of-sale computing. This person will be troubleshooting basic system issues. They will be proactive in resolving issues and make sure all system(s) and equipment is up and running. The Technician will monitor these things daily and stay ahead of any issues while working closely with management and external vendors in support of these systems.
Essential Functions:
+ Maintain POS configurations and assist with implementation of new POS venues.
+ Assists departments in carrying out various point-of-sale inquiries and requests.
+ Supports each restaurant's surveillance and digital menu board maintenance needs.
+ Assist in menu pricing accuracy across all platforms (POS, internal costing spreadsheets, menu boards and online menus).
+ Resolve in-depth technical P.C. software and hardware problems by utilizing logical problem-solving skills and referencing documented processes and procedures. (Microsoft Office, Win10 VPN, Active Directory, customer specific software applications, laptops, desktops, printers, VOIP telephony etc.).
+ Provide trouble shooting assistance to leadership and ensure their inquiries are resolved effectively.
+ Effectively use remote assistant tools, including knowledge base, to diagnose customer issues to resolved within target time limits.
+ Take pride and responsibility to meet or exceed targeted performance metrics and objectives.

+ Your ability to learn effectively and apply multiple types of training platforms including classroom, on the job, web based, and job shadowing is essential to perform as expected.
+ Use your innovative analysis ability to contribute to ongoing process and procedure improvements to enhance the customer experience.
+ Appropriately document all required information into the ticketing system.
+ Acts as liaison between organization and third-party IT administrator to support team's needs.
+ Database entry: Perform daily add, change, and delete requests. Routinely enter and modify data, such as menu items, discounts, taxes, employee information, etc.
+ Handle escalated support or service requests
+ Support disaster recovery solutions
+ Support network maintenance.
+ Communication with executive leadership, ownership, third parties to keep them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages
+ Troubleshoots visually and remotely to determine root-cause analysis.
+ Routinely monitor, track, and correct system anomalies.
+ Performs all duties in compliance with internal procedures and brings system issues to the attention of management.
+ Performs other related duties as required and/or assigned
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
A directly relevant associate degree OR A minimum of two years of related experience.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, shredders, fax machines, calculators and filing cabinets as well as other equipment when necessary.

Office positions require sedentary sitting. Position may require constant, frequent, or occasional: standing, walking, lifting, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
The noise level in the work environment is usually light to moderate.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is an hourly non exempt position. Typical days and hours of work for this position are Monday-Sunday varying hours between 4am-8pm. On call required at times. Other days/hours required as needed or assigned, including holidays.
Required Education and Experience:
A directly relevant associate degree OR A minimum of two years of related experience
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
+ Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
+ Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
+ Satisfactory completion of a background check in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Language Ability:
Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret general business and technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, internal and external customers, and the general public.
Travel:
Up to 50%
Other Responsibilities:
Assist with other office clerical functions including other assigned office duties in other areas of the department and/or company as needed or assigned.
