Job Description
Calling all flavor fanatics, sauté superstars, and kitchen rockstars! If you've got serious knife skills and a love for creating bold, delicious dishes, we want you on our team atOmni Royal Orleans— right in the heart of the historic French Quarter.
We're looking for aLine Cookwho’s ready to bring the heat, hustle, and heart to every shift. Join a passionate culinary team where your talent is valued, your growth is supported, and your dishes leave a lasting impression.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines
+ Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service.
+ Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
+ Perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame.
+ Refrigeration and serving of cold food.
+ Production of orders.
+ Maintain safe food handling procedures at all times
Qualifications
+ 1–2 years of high-volume, fine dining kitchen experience (preferred)
+ Solid knife skills and ability to work sauté, grill, and garde manger stations
+ Sharp eye for detail, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for great food
+ Team spirit with a touch of New Orleans flair
+ Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
+ Able to stand for 8+ hours in a fast-paced environment
