    Position Overview

    We are hiring a Field Applications Scientist Intern. The Field Applications Scientist Intern will work with the Life Sciences Field Applications Team to lean existing processes and help drive project goals to completion.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    + Project: Customer data analysis and data entry for newly designed salesforce product evaluation module

    + Review customer supplied product data

    + Summarize raw data for input into new product evaluation system

    + analyze data for trends

    + Design proposed reporting system for future analysis

    + Organize and streamline the knowledge base system to improve access to product resources.

    + Collaborate on creating templates and other assets to support FAS team initiatives.

    + Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the role of marketing and customer feedback

    + All interns will participate in a weekly 1:1 project update with the Supervisor.

    + All Interns will have a chance to participate in customer calls when appropriate.

    + All interns will attend weekly FAS team meetings and other internal meetings as assigned

    + All interns will prepare and present final report of accomplishments and learnings at conclusion of internship to select sales leadership

    Required Skills/Education

    + Must be enrolled full time in an Associate, Bachelors or Master's program with focus on Biology/Biotechnology

    + Strong proficiency in cell culture science, bioprocess, and general ‘technical marketing’ techniques.

    + Aseptic Technique

    + Data Analysis

    + Aptitude for understanding, communicating, and interpreting scientific concepts, applications and methods.

    + Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    + Ability to multitask and adjust quickly.

    + Customer focused/Strong networking skills

    + Well organized

    + Ability to work with others and independently as required.

    + Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

    Salary:

    + Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
