JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for effective planning, design, implementation, management, maintenance, monitoring, support, and optimization of Blessing’s technology infrastructure. The position will evaluate vendors as well as hardware and software products and address system performance issues. The System Engineer also participates in the development of quality assurance steps, technical standards and operational procedures for the Information Systems Department. The System Engineer will support project teams with executing, testing, and rolling-out new solutions and provide technical leadership and guidance to other members of the IS, Telecom, and Security teams as needed. Requires participation in an on-call rotation, ensuring coverage outside of regular business hours as needed. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission and Vision of Blessing Health System. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or liberal arts discipline is required.

+ 6-10+ years’ experience with IT infrastructure including Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365 & Azure, hyper-converged infrastructure (Nutanix preferred), Citrix, and Cisco route/switch/wireless networking.

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task, and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency.

+ Experience in technical project management and demonstrated ability to take a project through all phases of implementation as well as post-implementation follow-up.

PREFERRED:

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

+ At least 1 of the following certifications are required:

+ MCSE (Microsoft Certified Professional)

+ CCP-V (Citrix Certified Professional )

+ CCNP (Cisco Certified Professional)

+ VCP (VMware Certified Professional)

+ NCP (Nutanix Certified Professional)

+ Valid driver’s license
