FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY – FORT WORTH, TEXAS

Join the team of this high profile family law firm in Forth Worth for the opportunity to learn and grow professionally in a supportive environment! Expect the best, and it’s more likely to happen! You will act as first point of contact with retained clients as you proactively and efficiently manage your cases from beginning to end. This firm is looking for you if you have at least 5 years of family law experience. It is expected that you will be comfortable managing your own docket. Here is a sample of your responsibilities:

Draft a variety of legal documents to include: Petitions, Motions, Notice & Request for Hearings, Summons, Final Decrees, Correspondence and other communications

Review and categorize Assets & Liabilities worksheets for equitable property distribution

Act as first point of contact with retained clients

Manage your cases from beginning to end

Ensure clients are up to date on the status of their cases and feel informed about their options

Review pleadings and other legal documents

Meet with mentoring attorneys to regularly share information and define strategy

Sit first chair on family law hearings and trials

Attend Hearings, Mediation, and Trials

Participate in marketing activities to promote the firm and professional development

Requirements

Must be licensed in Texas to practice law

Firm is looking for a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience who can hit the deck running without falling down

You will be mentored to become the expert you have wanted to be with your own Family Law cases

Must enjoy client interaction

It is expected you will be comfortable managing your own docket

Solid understanding of the Texas Family Code and the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with superior attention to detail

Ability to learn and utilize new software, technology and techniques as needed to meet the changing demands of the legal marketplace

Desire to join a winning team, and earn more due to your exquisite performance
