Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Los Alamitos, California. In this role, you will manage key financial processes, including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment reconciliation, while contributing to the month-end close. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented detail oriented who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong foundation in accounting practices.

Responsibilities:

• Process and post invoices with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely payment schedules.

• Manage vendor relationships, including addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.

• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Maintain detailed payment schedules and post payments to appropriate accounts.

• Handle intercompany transactions and ensure proper documentation and accounting.

• Perform coding of invoices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular check runs and prepare payment batches.

• Utilize accounting software such as Microsoft Great Plains, QuickBooks, and Oracle to manage financial records.

• Provide support for financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred but not mandatory.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable.

• Proficiency in accounting principles and strong attention to detail.

• Familiarity with intercompany transactions is a plus.

• Experience with accounting software like Microsoft Great Plains, QuickBooks, and Oracle.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
