Description
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist to manage accounts, track outstanding balances, and ensure timely payments. This role is essential in maintaining financial health and optimizing cash flow. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in accounts receivable management.
Key Responsibilities
+ Process and monitor customer invoices, payments, and account reconciliations
+ Follow up on outstanding balances and proactively manage collections efforts
+ Communicate with customers to resolve billing disputes and payment issues
+ Maintain accurate records of transactions and payment histories
+ Collaborate with internal teams to improve invoicing and collection processes
+ Prepare financial reports and aging summaries for management review
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
+ Assist with month-end closing and audits as needed
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) OR 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or financial operations
+ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and collections processes
+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
+ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to communicate professionally and negotiate effectively
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
