    Overview

    The Manager of Information Security plays a vital role in safeguarding the hospital’s information systems and sensitive data. The Manager of Information Security is a subject matter expert related to information systems, analysis, design, development maintenance, implementation, and quality assurance activities, monitor and coordinate responses to information security threats and monitor, develop implement and enhance security policies and standards. The Manager of Information Security is essential in protecting the hospitals infrastructure from cyber threats and maintaining the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of systems. The Manager of Information Security will supervise and direct the hospital’s Information Security Analysts (ISA).

     

    There is a preference for candidates with Security+, CISSP, and GIAC certifications for this role.

     

    There is a preference for local candidates for this role.

     

    Education and Experience

    Minimum Required:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business/healthcare administration or a healthcare/technology-related field

    + Seven (7) years of information technology experience which includes: Five (5) years of information security and two (2) years of managerial/supervisory experience

     

    License and/Certifications

    + Certifications such as CCNA, CEH, CCNP, CCSP, GIAC, CISSP, Security
