Responsibilities

This position offers relocation assistance!

Responsible for providing nursing care for patients in accordance with YRMC established policies operating practices guidelines and national standards of care to foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families. Provides surgical first assisting under the direct supervision of the surgeon.

Qualifications

Minimum

+ Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent

+ Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) program

+ Valid compact state or Arizona RN license

+ Current Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certificate,

+ American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider

+ Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position

+ Ability to explain treatments and conditions to patients and their families.

+ Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations.

+ Basic computer literacy and proficiency.

Preferred

+ Bachelor degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent

+ Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certificate

+ Electronic medical record experience; Cerner strongly preferred

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Pay Range

$40.67 - $58.96 /hour
