Responsibilities

Under the oversight of a Certified Vascular Sonographer provides direct patient care performing a variety of vascular and venous interventional ultrasound procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum

+ One year of adult vascular ultrasound experience

+ Experience in venous intervention and peripheral vascular procedures

+ Completion of a vascular program

+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

+ Eligible to sit for Registered Vascular Sonographer Certification (RVT) within 6 months of Hire

+ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service

+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

+ Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows

Preferred

+ Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred

+ Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) Certification

+ Ultrasound experience in Vein Center/Vascular Center

Pay Range

$41.13 - $53.60 /hour
