    Responsibilities

    Under the general direction of the Home Health Supervisor develops a home care plan of instructing patient family/caregivers and other nurses to implement the plan for therapeutic treatment and rehabilitation of the speech impaired. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality per Mercy-Memorial Home Healths administrative policy.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + One year of clinical experience with direct patient contact

    + CA Speech Therapist License

    + BLS required

    + Ability to read analyze and interpret hospital/agency policies and procedures professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations

    + Ability to write reports and procedures and document in the medical record

    + Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers managers patients physicians family members and the general public

    + Must be able to read write and speak English proficiently

     

    Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

    Pay Range

    $51.65 - $61.40 /hour
