• Dietary Aide - Behavioral Health - All shifts

    STGi is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide services at our Georgia War Veterans Home. GWVH will be opening a new unit that will be dedicated to the needs related to diagnoses of Veterans with PTSD, TBI, history of behavioral disorders, and substance use issues.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Provide assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food procedures.

    WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    + Ability to move intermittently throughout the day

    + Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to meet the requirements of the position.

    + Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.

    + Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

    Required Skills

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    + On the job training will be provided.

    + Effective English communication skills

    + Professional demeanor with resident community

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    + Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent

    NOTE:

    As part of orientation, selected candidates will receive safety care training.

     

    All shifts for Full-time and Part-time openings.

     

    This position is located at 2249 Vinson Highway SE, Milledgeville, GA.
