DEPARTMENT: Child care Services
SCHEDULE: Days 7:00am to 4:00pm
ATTRIBUTES
+ One (1) year of work experience with small children
+ Excellent leadership and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Guidance & Relationship Building. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all of the children and their families; effectively guide the children’s behavior in an age appropriate manner; meet the physical, social, cognitive, emotional and cultural needs of individual children
+ Development. Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children while fostering an environment that supports their growth
+ Safety & Oversight. Ensure the safety of the children and promote healthy habits; work with colleagues and community representatives to support children and families
PAY SUMMARY: The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
