    EDM Machinist - Weekly Pay

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled EDM Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up, operating, and programming Sinker and Wire EDM machines. You will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality parts, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining machinery.     Responsibilities

    + Machine high-quality parts

    + Read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions

    + Inspect and document manufactured parts

    + Ensure machinery is in good working order before each shift

    + Perform machine setups for part manufacturing

    + Edit programs as needed

    + Perform necessary machine maintenance and use equipment properly

    + Abide by all safety standards at all times

    + Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately

    + Keep all work areas clean and organized

    + Hold oneself to a high standard of quality and take pride in work

    + Be available to work 2nd shift and for overtime as needed

    Essential Skills

    + 7+ years of experience with Sinker / Wire EDM machines setup, operating, and programming

    + Experience reading and interpreting blueprints

    + Experience with GD&T

    + Advanced knowledge of EDM programming

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mastercam experience is a strong plus

    Work Environment

     

    Current opening is on day shift. Both climate and non-climate controlled environments. 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM, Friday 6AM-2:30PM. 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4PM-2:30AM, Friday 2PM-10PM. Expect roughly 10 hours/day Monday-Thursday, 8 hours on Friday, with optional (encouraged) and as-needed Saturday overtime for both shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bertram, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $46.00/hr.
