Job Title: Manufacturing Tech

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Tech to assist in a dynamic production environment. This role involves supporting machine operators, adhering to safety regulations, and handling various materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceuticals and be comfortable working with different flavors and scents.

2nd shift - 3:00pm-11:30pm

$24/hr

Responsibilities

+ Assist machine operators with offloading materials

+ Abide by all safety regulations and rules

+ Manually move buckets and vats of flavors

+ Assist with mixing, blending, and compounding of products

+ Perform various duties around the facility to assist while others are out

+ Clean the facility and production bowls after food production

+ Use a tablet for documentation and work orders

+ Lift 50+ lbs on a consistent basis

Essential Skills

+ Experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceuticals

+ Comfortable with mixing, blending, and compounding

+ Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations

+ Material handling experience

+ Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with janitorial and cleaning tasks

+ Ability to use a tablet for documentation

+ Comfortable with various scents and flavors

+ Willingness to use a beard mask or be clean-shaven

Work Environment

This role operates in a flavor and fragrances environment, where various scents will be present. Proper PPE will be provided, but candidates should be aware of the strong smells. The position requires flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shifts and weekends as needed, with potential for 12-hour days during high production periods.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CERRITOS, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
