    Job Title: Press Operator

    Job Description

    As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for executing changeovers, setting up machines, conducting quality inspections, performing basic troubleshooting, running production, and operating machinery. Additionally, you will be required to enter data into computers.

    Responsibilities

    + Execute machine changeovers efficiently.

    + Set up machines for production runs.

    + Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure product standards.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues.

    + Operate production machinery effectively.

    + Enter data accurately into computer systems.

    Essential Skills

    + One year of experience with Impact press, Stamping press, Punch press, Progressive dies, or High-speed press is required.

    + Blueprint reading experience is mandatory.

    + Basic computer skills are necessary.

    + Ability to lift and move items up to 35 lbs and stand for 10-hour shifts.

    + Multitasking skills to manage multiple machines simultaneously.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with precision measuring tools is a plus.

    + Specific experience with Minster machines is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an air-conditioned facility equipped with a separate air filtration system, housing 19 machines with 8 colleagues in the department. Employees are encouraged to participate in safety programs, lunch and learn sessions, and various appreciation events. While there are no annual reviews, raises are based on contribution efforts including attitude, attendance, and learning.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, Florida.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
