Job Description

This role primarily involves working in the Pipe department, utilizing a stand-up forklift to pull and stage large PVC pipes throughout the day. This is a physical job that requires lifting up to 50+ lbs. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working at a fast pace and under minimal supervision once training is completed. Additional duties may include order picking, shipping, and receiving, and assisting in other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize a stand-up forklift to pull and stage large PVC pipes

+ Work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks

+ Lift up to 50+ lbs

+ Operate under minimal supervision after training

+ Assist in other departments as needed

+ Perform order picking, shipping, and receiving tasks

Essential Skills

+ 6-12 months of stand-up forklift experience

+ Experience in warehouse operations

+ Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

+ Ability to work independently after training

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with general labor tasks such as stocking, packing, and palletizing

+ Material handling experience

+ Experience in landscaping is a plus

Work Environment

This is a traditional warehouse environment with exposure to seasonal temperature changes. The job requires wearing steel-toed boots that go above the ankle, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt. Safety shoes, goggles, and gloves are required. The position offers 1st shift hours (Mon-Fri 7am-4pm) and 2nd shift hours (Mon-Fri 12:30pm-10pm), with one unpaid hour for lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
