    Job Description / Descripción del trabajo

     

    PCI is seeking a **Field Supervisor** for its **Houston 125** industrial cleaning, excavation, and construction operations based in **Pasadena, TX.**

    Job duties may include:

    + Overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects

    + Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out

    + Use look‐ahead schedules, manpower forecasts and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower and crew mix

    + Systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance and workplace safety

    + Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co‐workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency

    + Convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation

    + Use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently

    + Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

    + Performs other related duties as assigned

    + On-the-job training offered

     

    This position is safety-sensitive.

     

    Requirements / Requisitos

    Basic Requirements:

    + Must have at least 1 year of experience as a supervisor on a construction jobsite

    + Must have a track record of successfully performing supervisory responsibilities

    + Must be at least 18 years old

    + Must have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

    + Possess strong verbal and written communcation skills with ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders

    + Ability to perform basic math

    + Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside

    + Physically able to perform assigned tasks

    + Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time

    Preferred Requirements:

    + Local to the Pasadena, TX area
