THE POSITION

This role is vital for facilitating community services by ensuring safe and efficient transportation for various activities. As a Van Driver, you will often be the first point of contact for community members, helping to foster a positive image of our local government services. Your efforts will significantly contribute to enhancing community engagement and delivering essential services effectively. The part-time nature of this position offers a flexible work schedule, making it perfect for those balancing other commitments. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Within this role, you will be responsible for transporting consumers to a variety of appointments. A friendly and personable nature will help you successfully establish effective working relationships with the individuals served. You will also maintain all statistical information regarding transportation and provide basic maintenance repairs such as replenishing windshield washer fluid and checking the oil. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ One year of employment which required operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty;or
+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
+ This position requires p ossession of a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
