    The Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist 2 processes and dispenses Specialty Rx medication. The Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

     

    The Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist 2 applies clinical and operational expertise to ensure effective and compliant processing and dispensing of Specialty pharmacy prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and/or provider offices. Interacts directly with Providers and Patients to solve complex and/or escalated issues related to Specialty Rx medication including resolving issues related to drug interactions and dependencies. Develops and integrates programs developed to improve overall health outcomes with a focus on Specialty prescription drugs. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

    + Able to stand for up to 10 hours/day

    Pay Range

     

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

     

    $94,900 - $130,500 per year

     

    This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
