We are seeking a skilled Sr. Business Financial Manager (BFM) to provide direct financial and budgetary support to PMA-264 Air Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems Program. The BFM will assist in managing all aspects of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) for airborne anti-submarine warfare (ASW) systems, ensuring compliance with DoD financial regulations and program objectives.

Duties:

+ Develop, track, and manage program budgets, spend plans, and execution status across appropriations (e.g., RDT&E, Procurement, O&M).

+ Support preparation and submission of POM inputs, budget exhibits, and financial documentation in support of Navy and DoD reporting requirements.

+ Interface with NAVAIR comptroller, contracts, logistics, engineering, and program management teams to ensure integrated financial planning.

+ Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and reprogramming actions to support program priorities.

+ Utilize Navy financial management systems and tools such as ERP, PBIS, PRISMS, NERP, and PMT.

+ Monitor contract funding status and obligations to ensure compliance with funding profiles and timelines.

+ Assist in the development of financial briefings and reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Required Education:

+ MA/MS degree

Substitution Language:

+ Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree. OR 2. Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree. OR 3. Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.

Required Experience:

+ 10+ years of experience performing duties described in the functional description

+ Strong working knowledge of the DoD PPBE process and Navy financial systems.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tracking tools.

Preferred Experience:

+ Experience supporting NAVAIR or PMA-264 programs.

+ Familiarity with ASW systems and related acquisition programs.

+ DAWIA Business – Financial Management Level II or III certification (or equivalent DoD certification).

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $78,433.26-$129,285.60 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
