    Seattle Children’s Implemented Workday in July 2024 to modernize the workforce experience, providing a streamlined platform and mobile application so workforce members can access their information anytime, anywhere.

     

    We are hiring a Workday Administrator who specializes in the Talent and Performance Modules.

     

    These roles will primarily focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining Workday business processes and configurations within the Workday Recruiting and Workday Talent and Performance Modules. These roles require expertise in Workday to configure, optimize, generate reports, validate updates, and troubleshoot issues, all while collaborating with operational teams to meet our organization's evolving needs.

     

    + Responsible for configuration, maintenance, data loads, and optimization of Workday software.

    + Responsible for being knowledgeable regarding the Workday roadmap and upcoming product releases, reviewing release notes, assessing new features, and understanding the impacts on business processes and fundamental changes in functionality.

    + Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to Workday functionality, data integrity, and system integrations.

    + Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.

    + Monitor and track progress on Workday support tickets and collaborate and support functional leads with escalated issues.

    + Troubleshoot complex issues or problems related to the recruiting business process regularly.

     

    As a Workday Systems Administrator, you will collaborate with senior leaders and managers to identify and recommend strategic data needs that support significant business decisions related to the organization's workforce.

     

    Provide guidance and consultation on the selection, implementation, evaluation, and support of multifaceted systems and information analysis that support hospital operations, HR industry best practices, and data analysis methodologies. Apply substantial depth of skill and experience to review, recommend, and implement solutions that enable end-users to effectively understand and utilize data related to guide decision-making and support operations.

     

    Required Education and Experience

    Level III

    + Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Business, Computer Science, Math or related field, or equivalent technical training/certification; work experience demonstrating technical competency may be substituted for formal education.

    + At least five (5) years in Workday as HRIS

    + Expert knowledge of systems and data analysis and display techniques.

    + Experience with complete software development life-cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

    + At least seven (7) years experience in an HR technical environment. Experience with HR systems and processes supporting business customers, end users, and IS staff.

    + Experience with data structures and processes.

    Level II

    + Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Business, Computer Science, Math, or related field or equivalent technical training/certification; work experience demonstrating technical competency may be substituted for formal education.

    + At least one (1) years of Workday experience as HRIS and 5+ years HRIS experience in another system.

    + Expert knowledge of systems and data analysis and display techniques.

    + Experience with complete software development life-cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, and design, coding, testing, and deployment.

    + At least five (5) years experience in an HR technical environment. Experience with HR systems and processes supporting business customers, end users, and IS staff.

    + Experience with data structures and processes.

     

    Preferred

    Level III

    + Experience working as a systems and data analyst within a healthcare setting.

    + Experience with clinical, hospital and/or financial applications and/or systems.

    + Workday-specific training and certification in multiple subject areas within People and Culture (HR).

    + Excellent communication, change management, organizational skills, and problem-solving

    + Progressively responsible work experience as a Systems or Reporting Analyst or equivalent.

    + Experience managing medium to large projects using standard project management skills, tools, and methodologies.

    + Experience managing medium to large projects using standard project management skills, tools, and methodologies.

    + Experience supporting Workday integrations.

    Level II

    + Experience working as a systems and data analyst within a healthcare setting.

    + Experience with clinical, hospital, and/or financial applications and/or systems.

    + Workday-specific training and certification in multiple subject areas within People and Culture (HR).

    + Excellent communication, change management, organizational skills, and problem solving

    + Progressively responsible work experience as a Systems or Reporting Analyst or equivalent.

    + Experience supporting HRIS integrations.

     

    Compensation Range

     

    $115,277.00 - $190,207.00 per year

     

    Salary Information

     

    This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
