Property Analyst 9-P11
As a member of the Real Estate Section, Property Analyst will assist in the Case Management of Sale of Surplus Properties and also Direct Sale type cases, and will learn the procedures of all different types of land transactions, including easements, exchanges, purchases, and gifts. The analyst will also assist Real Estate Section staff on records reviews and their impact on proposed real estate transactions. The analyst will process basic land transactions, learn and perform case management activities, and maintain the case information in the Land Ownership Tracking System (LOTS). The position also requires reviewing land resource evaluations and recommendations regarding the disposition of variety of real property rights, such as mineral and timber rights. The position will also assist the LOTS business owner in the development and maintenance of the system.

Property Anlayst 12
This position serves as the Recognized Resource in the Real Estate Section responsible for the direct sale of lands and rights in lands, as authorized by the Director and is responsible for ensuring that actions are in accordance with state and federal regulations. The analyst performs all duties related to the disposal of surplus properties on the most complex parcels. These duties include site visits, record research, independent valuations under a Real Estate Appraisal license. In addition, the position is responsible for completing other real estate appraisal assignments as-needed; providing technical assistance and expertise to the Land Ownership Tracking System (LOTS) database business owner; assisting in the review and conveyance of easement requests on DNR owned lands; serving as the sections lead drone pilot; and for identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements to increase the quality and effectiveness of the real estate section.

Two years of professional experience in real estate equivalent to a Property Analyst, including one year equivalent to a Property Analyst 10.

Three years of professional experience in real estate equivalent to a Property Analyst, including one year equivalent to a Property Analyst P11.
Alternate Education and Experience
Property Analyst 9 - P12
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
