V2X is currently seeking Front End/Back End web software developers to support the Advantor Suite for Networks (ASN) security monitoring and control system. The ideal candidate would have experience in the technologies currently utilized by ASN (Adobe Air, Flash, Java/JavaScript, C/C++/C#) as well as potential future technologies (Python, Flask), as well as experience in development of access control systems.

Typical Duties:

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for development, integration, test, and documentation of software for our ASN products. The Senior Software Engineer is also responsible for ensuring successful testing is conducted at the Advantor test site in Orlando, either in person or through our system test engineers. The Senior Software Engineer must be able to work in an agile environment within a cross-functional team.

**Required Skills** :

+ Minimum of 7 years related experience in software development using Java, Java Script, C++, C#

+ In-depth knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres)

+ Experienced developing software for access control/intrusion detection or similar systems

+ Ability to quickly become familiar with Advantor Systems code base

+ Experience developing APIs

**Desired Skills** :

+ Working knowledge of Adobe Flash and Adobe Air environments

+ Experience working in an agile environment

+ Effective communication skills

+ Ability to work under time constraints, self-starter, customer focused, adaptable and willing to work varying assignments

+ Organizational skills to include attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask

+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

+ Strong teaming skills

**Education Requirements** :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program from an accredited institution.
