What you'll do

+ Work closely with IT application teams and product owners to design, implement and support data privacy, governance and analytics solutions for a better regulatory compliance and risk management
+ Implement data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services: (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, etc.) and traditional data warehouse tools
+ Apply anonymization, deidentification, pseudonymization and other privacy preserving techniques to optimize privacy and utility of data
+ Be involved in multiple aspects of the software development lifecycle – design, cloud engineering (Infrastructure, network, security, and administration)
+ Ensure systems are maintained and resilient against harms and threats
+ Work on integrations between Privacy, Risk Assessment, Cybersecurity and Governance platforms and build effective automation of privacy controls
+ Provide privacy thought leadership and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently.
+ Administer privacy by design frameworks, tools and policies like data retention, data mapping etc.,
+ Be a part of an Agile DevOps team that completely owns and supports their product
+ Mentors' other team members and upskills to enable multi-functional and high performing team
+ Collaborates with Cybersecurity, Governance, IT engineers, Product Owners and Architects to implement privacy regulations and best practices across the enterprise
+ Leads development of privacy standards, best practices and security guidelines
+ Mentors' others on privacy and domain skills to create multi-functional teams
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
+ 3 years Privacy by Design technology experience using agile, DevOps, operating in a product model that includes experience in working on evaluating, managing and tracking privacy risks in applications or data engineering solutions.
+ 3 years data analytics experience.
+ 2 years of experience working in a privacy related field (e.g., privacy engineering, security engineering, data engineering, compliance engineering etc.,).
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ 3 years of experience in building and applying privacy preserving and enhancing technologies (e.g., PII identification, anonymization, technical privacy risk assessments, automations, DSARs etc.,).
+ Data Privacy or Cybersecurity related experience.
+ Experience in any of the following tools/platforms:
+ Data Platforms: Teradata, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake.
+ Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, logic apps and Azure Functions, Power BI, Power Automate etc.,
+ CI/CD: GitHub, Azure DevOps.
+ Tools and Integrations: OneTrust (Or any other privacy management tools), BigID (or any data discovery tools), Privacy Vulnerability tools/Integrations, Power BI/Tableau.
+ Programming/Scripting: Python, SQL, APIs.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
+ Skilled in technology stack for privacy management, data management, automation, reporting, visualization.
+ Any Azure, Microsoft certifications (preferred).
+ Any Cybersecurity or Privacy tools related trainings or certifications (like CIPT etc., preferred).
