Summary:
As an SRP Operator I you will monitor, make minor adjustments, operate HMI control panels, and perform quality checks to ensure you provide high quality material to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform laboratory tests on material to ensure they meet quality inspection criteria and specifications
+ Support analysis of test results and assist with implementing corrective measures as necessary to ensure that all materials comply with established quality standards
+ Support light wrenching and maintenance tasks on SRP tower equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent equipment malfunctions
+ Ensure proper handling of various solvents during sampling, testing, and cleaning
+ Assist with the management of hand tool inventories, ensuring they are well-maintained, readily available, and stored properly
+ Support the inventory of SRP materials, including tracking stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring proper storage and handling
+ Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position
+ Follow established work instructions
+ Able and willing to perform tasks in all weather conditions
+ Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE
+ Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements
+ Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements
+ Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required
+ Maintain cleanliness at worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
+ Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
+ Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
+ Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
+ 1 to 3+ years of manufacturing experience
Skills:
+ Basic computer literacy
+ Communication skills
+ Problem solving and analytical skills
+ Basic arithmetic ability
+ Reading and writing skills
+ Ability to work well with individuals and teams to ensure the team meets & exceeds expectations
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours
+ Safety glasses
+ Steel-toed shoes
+ nitrile gloves
+ ear protection
+ clean room suit
+ Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours
+ Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
+ Stoop, twist, bend
+ Reach overhead
+ Sit and/or stand
+ Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
