    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team at LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level experienced accountant who seeks for professional growth and development in accounting/finance. As an Accountant II, you will assist in day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and perform analysis based on financial results.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

    + Maintain general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

    + Prepare and review journal entries

    + Support preparation of tax filings and other regulatory compliance reports

    + Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information

    + Analyze financial data and generate reports for management as needed

    + Assist in conducting design/operating effectiveness testing of ICFR

    + Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

    + Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies

    + Assist in communicating with headquarters to fulfill reporting requirements and provide requested information

    + Perform other duties of a similar nature or level

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or other related fields

    Experience:

    + 3 to 5+ years of professional experience

    + Experience in manufacturing desired

    + Experience with SAP software preferred

    Skills:

    + English/Korean Bilingual is preferred

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

    + Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

    + Critical thinking skills

    + Judgment and decision making

    + Complex problem solving

    + High attention to detail
