    NOW HIRING: SECOND SHIFT QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

    Shift Hours: 2PM to 10:30PM

     

    Schedule: Monday - Friday

     

    Pay Rate: Starting at $21/hr (broken down as $20 + $1 shift differential)

    Allied Wire & Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector to join our team!In this role, you will be responsible for standing at a workstation performing detailed quality control to inspect products using hand tools and ensuring they meet customer standards.     What You'll Do

     

    + Inspect products visually and by using micrometers, calipers, and rulers

    + Read and interpret order tickets and customer requirements and compare to physical order to ensure orders are correct and undamaged

    + Communicate with sales regarding order issues, documentation, or any unclear requests

    + Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments (REACH, RoHS, CoC, etc)

    + Assist with additional duties as needed

     

    What You'll Bring

     

    + High School diploma or GED equivalent required

    + Previous experience in a quality control department required

    + Experience with hand tools required (calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc)

    + Experience using computers to do data entry and send emails required

    + Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment vision screening

    + Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
