    **Job Posting:** IT Technical Manager – Salesforce Marketing Cloud

    **Position Overview:** The primary objective of this role is to deliver Information Technology solutions for evolving business processes and support the development and administration of best practices to meet organizational needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Solution Development:

    + Translate business requirements into efficient solutions utilizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and products

    + Analyze user needs, produce requirements documentation and system plans, and encode, test, debug, maintain, and document programs and applications

    + Participate in technical design sessions and develop technical solution documentation aligned with business objectives

    Team Leadership:

    + Manage a team of developers and consultants

    + Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day direction for a team of direct reports

    + Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Salesforce Marketing Cloud developers

    + Lead agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews

    Technical Responsibilities:

    + Design and develop software for custom business applications/capabilities

    + Partner with business analysts, partner resources, and product owners in creating technical documentation and developing highly configurable and sustainable technical solutions

    + Lead Marketing Cloud data modeling and architecture, including data extension modeling and cross-product data architecture and mapping

    + Oversee integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) as well as third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and connectors

    + Stay updated with the latest Salesforce updates and features to provide guidance on best practices and new functionalities

    + Provide weekly updates to management, identify risks, and provide options

    Project Management:

    + Lead conception conversations with architects and developers to leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including declarative configuration, data extension, integrations, channels, and journeys

    + Lead multiple product lines focused on Marketing Automation at scale with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

    + Accountability for environment management

    + Architect, design, and develop advanced customizations utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud pages

    + Partner closely with the Product Managers to include continuous technical improvement in the Product Line roadmap

    + Lead discussions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and architect solutions that meet business needs

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field

    + 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a development or configuration capacity

    + 5+ years of project experience in a hands-on technical leadership position

    + Minimum 2 years of experience developing Salesforce Marketing Cloud customizations (Ampscript), integrations, and executing data migrations

    + Hands-on experience using Confluence and Jira

    + Enterprise consulting experience, including implementation experience with major technology programs

    + Experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce platform

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team with a willingness to take ownership of problems

    + Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver workshops and strategize

    + Experience with Agile and Product/Scrum team methodologies

    + Experience managing developers

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills

    + Well-rounded in both functional and technical aspects of Marketing Automation.

    + Global retail experience

    + Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP)

    **Location:** This position is in-person at our Corporate Office in New York City.

    **Salary:** The hiring range for this position is $148k-$209k. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
