    About the Intensive Care Unit

    • The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialized section of our hospital that provides comprehensive and continuous care for persons who are critically ill and can benefit from treatment. Montrose Regional Health's ICU has the tools and medical professionals to manage critical care patients and assist them in their greatest time of need. Combining the latest in healthcare technology with a highly qualified and trained staff.

    About The Career:

    • Works as a direct patient caregiver under the supervision of professional clinical staff. Functions as a clerk/receptionist for the ICU. Assists with patient care. Acts as a cardiac monitor technician.

    All About You :

    • Assists RN's in carrying out some aspects of patient care as assigned.

    • Assists in maintaining patient records and transcribing physician orders.

    • Demonstrates effective and courteous communication skills.

    • Orders and maintains unit supplies and equipment.

    • Maintains and applies Telemetry monitoring equipment.

    • Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and maintains patient rhythm strip records.
