    Butterfly Effects is seeking a Cash Posting Supervisor to join our Revenue Cycle Management team at our corporate office in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments and remittances.

     

    What Would You Be Doing?

     

    As the Cash Posting Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the cash posting team and ensure the accurate and timely application of payments across all payer types. You will work closely with billing, collections, and finance teams to maintain data integrity and resolve payment discrepancies.

     

    + Supervise and contribute to day-to-day operations of the cash posting team, including training, performance management, and workflow coordination

    + Ensure timely and accurate posting of payments from electronic remittance advice (ERA), paper explanation of benefits (EOBs), and patient payments

    + Monitor unapplied cash and coordinate resolution of posting issues

    + Reconcile payment batches and ensure deposit logs match posted amounts

    + Collaborate with the billing and collections teams to research and resolve posting discrepancies

    + Assist with payer adjustments, refunds, and take-backs in compliance with organizational policy

    + Maintain documentation of standard operating procedures and ensure adherence to internal controls

    + Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices

    + Generate regular reports on posting activity, reconciliation status, and key performance indicators

    + Work with funding sources to ensure that electronic funds transfer and electronic remittance advice are properly set up

    + Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all payer-specific requirements

    + Supervise the distribution, scanning and posting of mail for revenue cycle team and other functional areas

    What Do You Bring to the Role?

     

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare cash posting, preferably in an ABA or behavioral health setting

    + Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role strongly preferred

    + Strong understanding of medical billing and payment posting processes, including ERAs and EOBs

    + Familiarity with payer guidelines and denial codes

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and practice management systems

    + Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy

    + Excellent organizational and communication skills

    + Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team

    + Commitment to discretion and handling sensitive information with integrity

    + A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
