    Track Worker / Equipment Operator - Travel Role Location: Based in Mulberry, FL Starting Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour + Per Diem while traveling

    We're hiring a Track Worker/Equipment Operator to join our traveling maintenance crew. This is a travel position based out of Mulberry, FL. When not on the road, you'll be expected to report to the Mulberry site.

     

    This job requires hands-on work installing, repairing, and maintaining railroad tracks and right-of-way. We're looking for someone experienced with heavy equipment and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

     

    You'll operate machinery like excavators, backhoes, tampers, and spikers. Duties include replacing ties and rails, cutting and adjusting rail lengths, clearing vegetation, lubricating switch components, and keeping materials organized on-site. Safety meetings and job briefings are part of your daily routine.

     

    Heavy equipment experience is required. Railroad track maintenance experience is highly preferred.

     

    Must be willing and able to travel frequently and work on your feet in a physical environment. Must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid driver's license.

     

    Hourly pay starts at $20.00 with consideration for experience. While traveling, Per Diem is provided.
