    Job Title: Piping Mechanic - Commercial Construction

     

    Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as a Piping Mechanic. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and grow your skills in the trade, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers.

    Responsibilities:

    + Thorough knowledge in the mechanical piping trade in either welding (carbon steel pipe), pipe fitting, or both

    + Welding experience a plus - Stick welding on pipe

    + Ability to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprints

    + Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices

    + Must be open to helping other mechanical trades as needed - you will not weld all day, every day.

    + Must be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finish

    + Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Vocational school or prior training preferred.

    + Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.

    + Strong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.

    + Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

    + Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

    + Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    + Commitment to safety and following established protocols.

    + Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
