    Job Description Summary

    The position involves performing various production assembly operations related to electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical hardware, including modules, circuit card assemblies, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. The role requires complex rework, soldering, wiring skills, and testing capabilities. The individual will follow established procedures, work instructions, schematics, and other approved documentation to perform assembly and soldering operations. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.

    + Conduct complex rework, soldering, wiring, and testing.

    + Follow established procedures, work instructions, and schematics.

    + Inspect the condition of CCA kits and perform self-verification of work quality.

    + Prep, route, and solder jumper wires, through-hole components, and SMT parts to class 3 requirements.

    + Use a 10X microscope for soldering and inspection activities.

    + Maintain cleanliness of soldering equipment and workbench.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Ability to read, follow, and comprehend technical work instructions and safety documents.

    + 1-4 years of soldering experience with the ability to become J-STD class 3 and IPC-610 class 3 certified within 30 days.

    + Ability to lift/move materials up to 35 pounds and work with hazardous materials and chemicals.

    + Willingness to work overtime as required.

    + Proficiency in inspecting CCA kits and performing self-verification of work quality.

    + Ability to flex to other areas and learn new skills.

    Desired Skills / Experience:

    + Proficiency in using a personal computer to navigate online documents, drawings, and instructions.

    + Minimum of 6 years of industry or related job experience, including 5 years of previous work in electronics

    + Prior experience in a team-oriented environment.

    + IPC 7711/7721 de-soldering/rework/repair experience is desired.
