    Description

    As a Volunteer Services Coordinator at ChildServe, you'll be responsible for coordinating functions of the Volunteer Services program, including matching volunteers to opportunities, training/orientation, database management, and assisting with various activities and events.

     

    Schedule

     

    + Part-Time Hours: Approximately 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, totaling 20–25 hours per week.

    + Must be available to work until 5:00 PM at least one day per week.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + Communicate with volunteers, staff, and community members through phone, email, and quarterly highlights, and act as the “go-to” for external volunteer-related questions and guidance.

    + Partner with services to identify volunteer needs. Match volunteers with opportunities and provide orientation and support throughout the volunteer lifecycle.

    + Create, coordinate, and maintain children-focused activity kits that are shared with internal teams.

    + Maintain the volunteer database in the electronic system and support the volunteer flow. Assist with completion of compliance requirements. Maintain accurate records of volunteer activities and participation.

    + Support event planning and coordination, including logistics, setup, and outreach.

    + Help with social media updates, content, or community engagement initiatives.

    + Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.

     

    What You'll Need

     

    + High School Degree or equivalent.

    + One year of administrative experience. Prior volunteer services experience preferred.

    + Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
