POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr Director, ERP Applications is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and implementation of ERP application systems within the organization. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, collaborating with various departments and business partners, and ensuring that the ERP applications align with the company's business objectives and operational needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ **Strategic Planning:** Develop and execute the strategic plan for ERP applications, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
+ **Team & Organizational Leadership:** Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including managers and Business Systems Analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Serve as a key member of the Enterprise Applications leadership team as well as the broader global IT leadership team by contributing to broader departmental outcomes and success.
+ **Project Management:** Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of ERP solution projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, with agreed to capabilities, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
+ **Stakeholder Management:** Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand their needs and ensure effective communication and coordination.
+ **System Stability:** Ensure system up-time and create an environment that places a high importance on system reliability in a business that depends on ERP systems.
+ **Risk Management:** Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure the successful implementation and operation of ERP applications.
+ **Budget Management:** Develop and manage capital and expense budgets effectively, maximizing the use of company financial resources.
+ **Vendor Management:** Manage relationships with vendors and consultants, ensuring they deliver high-quality services and solutions.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the functionality, efficiency, and user experience of ERP applications.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
+ Location: Denver, CO
+ Environment: Standard office environment, onsite at Corporate HQ
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage large, complex projects and collaborate with senior executives and business leaders.

+ **Strategic Thinking:** Strong strategic planning skills to align ERP applications with business objectives.

+ **Project Management:** Expertise in managing large, complex projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
+ **Communication:** Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and convey technical information.
+ **Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and implement effective solutions.
+ **Technical Proficiency:** In-depth knowledge of ERP application systems and relevant software tools.
+ **Risk Management:** Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with ERP applications.
+ **Vendor Management:** Experience in managing vendor relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application functionality and user experience.
EXPERIENCE:
+ 15+ years of experience in ERP application management, including strategic planning, project management, and team leadership.
+ **Experience with major software tools:**
+ SAP S4/HANA: For enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business management.
+ Ariba: For procurement and supply chain management.
+ SuccessFactors: For human capital management (HCM).
EDUCATION:
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Master's degree is preferred.
COMPENSATION:
_As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $200,000 to $250,000 per year. Additionally, this position will be eligible for our short & long-term incentive program._
