    The role you’ll contribute:

    The Painter maintains and operates all equipment in the paint shop. Applies coats of paint, varnish, stains, lacquer, etc., to decorate and protect interior and exterior hospital surfaces. Smooth surfaces, fill nail holes, cracks and joints. Selects premixed paint or blends and mixes paints. Protects work area. Has a thorough knowledge of all types of paints but not limited to: latex, oil based, automotive, epoxy, etc. Know how to select proper paint for particular surface to be painted.

    The value you’ll bring to the team:

    • Follow safety procedures during spraying.

    • Uses drop cloths for proper protection of floors and furniture.

    • Protects areas not to be painted.

    • Prepares surfaces by taping, sanding or cleaning.

    • Applies Faux Finishes.

    • Measure, cut and install sheetrock.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:

    • High School Degree, GED, or Graduate of a Technical School

    • 2 Years of Position-Related Experience

    • Valid Driver’s License
