We are seeking a Leasing Consultant in Ann Arbor, MI who is energetic, goal-oriented, and enjoys new challenges. If you're currently in a Leasing, Assistant Manager, or Community Manager role and want to familiarize yourself with our company's operations before taking on a leadership role at another property, this is the ideal opportunity for you!
You Have:
+ Marketing and networking skills
+ Two years of verifiable Property Management experience, preferably in Affordable housing (Section 8 and/or LIHTC)
+ The wish to become an assistant property manage or property manager in the metro Detroit area
+ Phone and email etiquette
+ Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite (preferred), Yardi or Entrata
+ Strong communication skills and a passion for excellent customer service
+ COS, HCCP, or other Affordable Housing certifications (not required, but a plus!)
+ Availability to work M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
+ Real Estate License (or must be willing to obtain within 90 days of employment)
+ Organizational skills
+ Computer knowledge (Office 365)
Responsibilities Include:
+ Answer a multi-line phone system and respond to property inquiries, including entering resident work orders.
+ Assist in managing application and leasing paperwork, as well as certifications and re-certifications for Section 8 and LIHTC housing programs.
+ Perform administrative tasks such as filing, maintaining resident records (both physical and digital), and conducting inspections.
+ Oversee pest control scheduling and follow-up.
+ Process rent payments and assist with delinquency follow-up.
+ Collaborate with team members on tasks, projects, and inspections as needed.
+ Promote resident satisfaction through outstanding customer service.
+ Learn and train on additional tasks to prepare for the next step in your property management career.
