    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour based on experience

As **Lead Industrial Painter** , you’ll be at the forefront of our finishing operations—bringing bold metal structures to life and helping power industrial projects across the country.

    What You’ll Do

     

    As our Lead Industrial Painter, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of painting and coatings in a dynamic industrial fabrication shop. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    + **Preparing metal surfaces** using media blasting, masking, and mechanical methods

    + **Mixing and applying coatings** per industry standards and client specs

    + **Operating and maintaining paint equipment** , including spray tools and blast booths

    + **Loading and unloading** large fabrications using a forklift

    + **Organizing inventory** of paints, tools, and supplies and managing orders with the Shop Manager

    + **Ensuring safety compliance** and using proper PPE at all times

    + **Leading by example** , troubleshooting issues, and mentoring team members

    + **Collaborating with sheet metal workers** , occasionally assisting in fabrications using tools such as press brakes, grinders, and shears

     

    What You Bring

    Required:

    + Minimum **3 years of industrial painting experience**

    + Strong **mechanical aptitude** , attention to detail, and safety-first mindset

    + Ability to **lift up to 50 lbs.** , climb, bend, stoop, and work in various physical conditions

    + Excellent **communication skills** and a collaborative spirit

    + Proven **work ethic** and reliability

    Preferred:

    + Previous experience in a **lead or foreman role**

    + Familiarity with industrial fabrication tools and processes
