    Engineer Solutions That Keep Aircraft Flying Safely

     

    PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a highly experienced **Product Review Engineer** to support a premier aerospace program in **Mascoutah, IL** . In this **full-time, 6-month consulting role** , you’ll apply deep engineering expertise to solve complex product and process issues, ensuring flight safety, compliance, and performance across the product lifecycle. This is your opportunity to lead, troubleshoot, and influence how advanced aerospace systems are sustained and improved.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Assess and resolve complex product/process issues across design, build, and post-production phases

    + Lead **root cause analyses** , develop non-conformance dispositions, and design **interim and permanent engineering solutions**

    + Support **Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)** and participate in design reviews as a subject matter expert

    + Implement product/process improvements and guide non-destructive test procedure development

    + Analyze reported problems for safety implications and manage technical resolutions

    + Collaborate across suppliers and build partners to ensure compliance with technical standards

    + Develop technical correspondence and support documentation for safe operation and maintenance

    + Lead field teams for on-site repairs or product recovery operations

    + Design structural repairs, perform strength analysis, and develop jacking/shoring strategies

    + Mentor and train internal/external teams on technical standards and procedures

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline

    + **9+ years** of related experience (or equivalent technical education and experience)

    + Previous **MRB (Material Review Board) certification**

    + **_Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance._**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Prior experience supporting **aerospace manufacturing or sustainment programs**

    + Education from an **ABET-accredited** institution is preferred

    + Strong familiarity with large-scale OEM engineering practices and standards
